Aloha, and here I am back again. Sadness to say, tragic happens everywhere. Things are unpredictable just like a Tsunami who hits away Sendai after the 8.9 magnitude Earthquake. If those are predictable, we wouldn't have lost so many lives, aren't we? So, don't take things for granted and start PREVENT. It's better safe than sorry, as the saying goes....
And well as I have been promised via FACEBOOK, I will share with you guys on the steps, precautions, preventions as well as useful guides to PREVENT ourselves from TRAGIC. This time, I only could share with you guys on the Prevention on FIRE as I only been to the FIRE PREVENTION TALK last week and I find it quite useful and I could said it's a priceless talk of all.
1. Useful Guides
Have you ever wonder what would you do if ur friends, families members or a person you know or you might know caught on fire? What would you do??? Please give urself a few second to answer below
A- Hit him/her with blanket
B- Pour Water
C- Pour Sand
D- Roll him/her on the floor
And so, what's your answer??? If you have answer this, the consequences are as below
A- Blanket will sticks to the skin of the victims and caused the victim have severe injuries on skin
B- Skin burns
C- Severe Skin infection as sand contains bacterias
D - The best of all above
If you answer wrongly, it's time to remember these cause this might save lives!!!
2. Prevention & Precaution
Have you ever think of when is the most dangerous timing when a fire break-out? A Day Fire or A Night Fire?
Yes, I am sure most of you answer correctly. It's a Night Fire. Why? Just because during day time, we are mostly awake and we might have time to run and save own life but what if during night time when everyone is drown in their dreamland??And well, we wouldn't want to mention more on this and as I said, it's better safe than sorry and start preventing by installing simple gadgets in your house which could help to prevent tragic happens. Sometimes, gadget could helps you to clear of small fire and avoid big damages. You gotta believe and agree with this!
* Install SMOKE DETECTER in your room or living room.
P/S: Do not install at kitchen area as we cook most of our time and it might caused faulty alarms.
*Install a small FIRE EXTINGUISHER in your master bedroom, where a place is easily to reach and use it.
P/S: There are many types of fire extinguisher and please read and survey which types of fire extinguisher for which following caused. Examples: CO2 is only main for solid things like eletronic gadgets burned or short circuit. Also please learn how to use it as below simple guides
P- PULL the string
A-AIM the source of fire
S -Spray it
S- Sweep from left to right n right to left as it is easier to cover all places.
*Get contractor to inspect your house every 5 years as faulty wiring or short circuit are one of the main caused of fire.
* Do not share plugs that could burden your extention wire. Heavy eletronic gadgets like air-cond, slow cooker, heater are NOT main for SHARING.
* Fire burns within second and ensure that when getting near to it, tie ur hair (for women especially) as hair is just like a string that easily burn out. Do not run over the fire sparks but crawl under it as this will reduce the potential of getting inhale more toxins gases into body.
* DAIL 999. Remember, 1 country 1 number and do not forget it!
